當數(shù)字&數(shù)學(xué)碰到英語該怎么說？年份/百分比/小數(shù)點怎么說

 

 

One, two, three...使用英語時通常情況下遇到這種簡單的數(shù)字，這些大家一定沒問題。但當我們碰到大數(shù)字、百分比、分子分母分數(shù)、小數(shù)點這些，要怎么用英語念你知道嗎？

Two thousand and twenty-two沒錯，但是太復(fù)雜，口語里可以說:

Twenty twenty-two

再來舉幾個例子

2010: twenty ten

2015: twenty fifteen

2050: twenty fifty

所以規(guī)律就是把它分為2個兩位數(shù)念，19xx年也是一樣的規(guī)則

但是遇到2001, 2002這些怎么念呢？

這里，就要用thousand來表達了

2001: two thousand and one

2002:  two thousand and two

并且口語里也常省略and

 

百分比

Percentage: 百分比（這個概念), 但遇到實際的數(shù)字，我們會用percent

這里，大家只要記住，英語百分比的念法跟中文順序相反，先念數(shù)字，再加個percent

比如

85%: eighty-five percent

90%: ninety percent

100%: one hundred percent或a hundred percent

后續(xù)我們也會看到很多例子，1可以念one或者a

Fraction: 分數(shù)

分母: denominator

分子: numerator

分數(shù)的英語念法有個很形象的方法：

1 over 2: 1/2

1 over 3: 1/3

學(xué)分數(shù)的表達，我們可以先學(xué)著一組固定表達

1/2:  half或者a half或者one half都可以

1/3: a third或者one third，不能說three, 要用third

1/4: a quarter或者one quarter；也可以說one fourth或者a fourth

3/4: three quarters (quarter要用復(fù)數(shù))

另外，非常重要的是分母后面要加th

1/5: one fifth或者a fifth

3/5: three-fifths

3/7: three-sevenths

1/8: one eighth或者an eighth

發(fā)音小竅門：分數(shù)的表達經(jīng)常后面會跟of, 比如three fifths of the population. 因此"th"可以與of連讀, 聽起來有點像thof

 

小數(shù)點

Decimal: 小數(shù)點（概念)

口語里會用point來表達

比如:

8.8: eight point eight

88.8: eighty-eight point eight

88.88: eighty-eight point eight eight

注意，小數(shù)點后面的數(shù)字要一個一個單獨說，而不是變成兩位數(shù)、三位數(shù)，例如eighty eight

0.xx怎么說?

Zero point xxx, 比如

0.8：zero point eight

0.88: zero point eight eight

但是，口語里也可以省略說zero，大家有機會留意native speaker或者英語媒體，如果說到point...意思就是0.xxx

但是如果0出現(xiàn)在其它位置，就不可以省略，比如

265.01: two hundred sixty five point zero one
